How do I set up a different rate for additional pets?

When you set up any new service or edit an existing one you can choose to include a price for additional pets in the same family. For example, you can choose to charge $25 for a 45-minute walk for the first dog and a reduced rate of $10 for the second (or third) dog if they are being booked for the same appointment.

Setting this up is simple. 

First, go to the Services & pricing tab in your business settings by clicking on Settings in the blue navigation bar at the side of your screen.

Next, click on an existing service or add a new one.  Once the service is open, toggle on “Charge a different rate per additional pet”. 

To the right of your “price per visit,” you will now see the option to add a price per additional pet. In this case, you would enter $10. 

Finally, make sure to hit the save button!

Now, anytime a client has multiple pets for this service, they will automatically be charged a reduced rate for each additional pet in their family.

What if I don’t want to charge anything for additional pets?

No problem! Just set the price per additional pet at $0. 

⚠️  If you turn off the "Charge a different rate per additional pet" toggle, we will charge the same rate for each pet in the family. Going back to our example above, a family with 3 dogs would be charged $25 for each dog, which totals to $75 per visit.
