PetPocketbook automatically bills your clients on a set schedule to keep things as seamless and streamlined as possible so you can focus on providing the best care for your clients. We always send an email notification to you the night before invoices go out so you have a chance to review them. However, you might find yourself in a scenario where you're not ready for your pet parent to receive the bill.
Let's use an example here your pet parent who is typically billed on a weekly basis is on vacation. You're also boarding their pet, and want to bill them for all the services you provided while they were away when they get back from their trip.
β
This invoice is scheduled to go out on Monday, March 9 but you'd like to bill them after you finish up the overnight boarding services on March 18.
When you're reviewing their draft invoice, tap settings to navigate directly to your pet parent's billing settings in their client profile.
β
From the pet parent's billing settings, choose a different billing frequency from the menu and make it effective as of the current bill.
β
If you choose 1st and 15th, the invoice will be sent out on March 15 which would close the bill too early.
β
If you choose Monthly, the invoice will now be scheduled to be sent out on April 1 which should cover the entirety of the overnight boarding service.
You don't need to wait until April 1 to bill your client either - when you're ready to send this invoice to your client, you can close it immediately by tapping bill now after you've finished your overnight boarding service.
