What are time windows?

With the unpredictability of weather, traffic, and sometimes even our beloved pets 🤪, it can be difficult to schedule out every minute of your day -- and promising an exact time to your clients can set the wrong expectations. That's why PetPocketbook gives you the option of showing time windows instead of exact appointment times to the pet families you work with.

With time windows, when pet parents view their upcoming appointments or request an appointment online (if you were to give them that option), they will see an estimated arrival window, like 9 AM to 11 , instead of an exact pickup time. This gives you more flexibility as you and your staff go through your day. 🙌

What if I don't want to use time windows?

You don't have to! If you prefer to show your clients the exact appointment time (let's say for a training class that they need to be on time for), time windows are actually OFF by default for every service category. If you've added time windows for a category and changed your mind, you can always just turn off the time window toggle.
