How long does it take for online payments in PetPocketbook to get deposited into my bank account?

You’ve set up your account for pet parents to pay you online via PetPocketbook. Now it’s time to sit back and watch the 💵 roll in!

When a pet parent pays you through PetPocketbook, you’ll see the payments appear immediately in the Payments section of your Invoices tab, and funds will automatically be deposited into the bank account you set up to receive deposits.

So how long does it take for funds to arrive in my bank account? That depends on the payment method your clients use when paying through PetPocketbook. Credit and debit card payments take 2-3 business days to process, while ACH bank transfers can take 5-7 business days. Keep in mind that it may take an extra day or two if there’s a banking holiday in that window! 

⚠️ For Canadian accounts, credit and debit card payments take 5-7 business days to process instead of the normal 2-3 business days. That makes us sad too, so we're trying to work with Stripe to see if there's anything we can do. 

By default, we’ve set up your account on a daily payout schedule, which is the fastest option for getting paid. Here’s how it works. Everyday, we check to see which payments are done being processed by the banks and ready to be deposited. The banks will then batch together all payments that are ready to be deposited into a singular payout that will then arrive in your bank account. So, if you received 10 individual $20 credit card payments on Monday from your clients, you should expect to receive a single $200 payout into your bank account on Wednesday or Thursday. When you’re on a daily payout schedule, you are getting paid as soon as the funds from your clients’ payments are available to be deposited – PetPocketbook never touches or holds any of the payments intended for you.
