How do I stop sending invoices to a client by email?

In certain cases, you may not want to send invoices to a family by email. Good news!  You can choose which of the human contacts in a family will receive email invoices or you can choose to not send them at all. 

⚠️  You should not turn off “automatically bill” for a client unless you never intend to charge or track payments for this family. Automatic billing is what allows for bookkeeping within PetPocketbook. ⚠️

First, go to the Family profile for the client by clicking on “clients” in the blue navigation bar.

Second, choose the family that you want to edit. You can search by human name or pet name. 🐾

Next, go to the Billing tab for the client you want to edit. Below your billing frequency, you will see the email addresses of the humans in this family who are currently receiving invoices by email.

To remove an email address, click the “x”.

Now that you have no emails selected, no invoices will be sent by email.

To add a billing email back in, simply click on “add a bill recipient” and choose from the email addresses of the human members of the family.
