Zapier frequently asked questions

Answers to common questions about using Zapier with PetPocketbook

Do I need coding experience?

No. Zapier provides a step-by-step setup process, and you don’t need to write code to use PetPocketbook’s templates or create a standard Zap.

Do I need a Zapier account?

Yes. Zapier is a separate, third-party service, so you’ll need a Zapier account to create and manage your Zaps.

Does Zapier cost anything?

Zapier offers both free and paid plans. The right plan depends on the number of automations and tasks you plan to run. You can compare available plans on Zapier's website.

Can I customize a PetPocketbook template?

Yes. You can use a template as provided or change it to better fit your workflow. You can also create your own Zap from scratch without using any of our templates.

Can I connect PetPocketbook to an app that isn't included in the templates?

Possibly. If the app you use is available on Zapier and offers an action that works with one of PetPocketbook's triggers, you can create your own Zap to connect it. The actions available will depend on the app you choose.

What PetPocketbook information is available in Zapier?

When a family is added, updated, or removed from your company's client list, PetPocketbook makes the corresponding family record available in Zapier.

Depending on what happened, that information may include:

  • Primary and secondary contact details

  • Family address

  • Pet profile, care, behavioral, veterinary, and medical information

  • Client notes and internal company notes

  • PetPocketbook record identifiers

When building your Zap, you can choose which available details to use or send to the application you are connecting.

Information sent through Zapier is also subject to the privacy, security, and data-retention practices of Zapier and the applications you connect. Before connecting an application, make sure it meets your business's privacy and security requirements.

Where can I get help with Zapier?
