When your pet care provider sends you documents through PetPocketbook, we’ll send an email and alert you in your pet parent portal to let you know!
Signing documents
Once a document has been sent to you through PetPocketbook, you’ll see the pop-up below the next time you login! You can choose to review the document right away, or take a look at it later.
After reviewing the document, you can electronically sign any agreements right from your portal by typing your name.
For some vet releases, you may be asked whether you’d like to set a maximum spend limit per pet in case of medical emergencies. If so, you’ll be able to toggle that on and set a dollar amount accordingly.
Can I decline to sign these forms?
You’ll see an option to decline if your pet care provider intended to give you that choice (for things like photo releases, etc). Otherwise, you’ll need to sign agreements shared with you via PetPocketbook before requesting services with your provider.
Accessing your documents
Need to come back to an agreement later? No problem. You can view any documents that your pet care provider has shared with you at any time.
On desktop or mobile web
Use the blue navigation menu on the left side of your portal and tap Documents. There, you’ll see all agreements and documents your provider has sent you, whether signed or still pending your review.
If you’re using mobile web, tap the menu icon (☰) in the top left corner first to open the navigation menu, then tap Documents.
In our mobile app
There are two ways to access your documents:
Tap view documents from the list of shortcut options near the top of the home tab after logging onto our app
Or tap on your provider’s profile on the home tab, then select review documents from the menu options that appear
From there, you can review and sign any pending agreements whenever you’re ready.
