Searching for a client in PetPocketbook is quick and flexible, so you can find what you need without digging around.
At the top right corner of your screen, you’ll see a search bar that lets you look up clients by name. Not sure what the pet parent’s name is? No problem! You can also search by pet name. 😛
Where you search matters a bit, depending on what you’re trying to find:
Clients tab: This is the best place to go when you’re looking for a specific client’s profile. Just make sure you’re in the Clients tab, then use the search bar to pull them up, although keep in mind this is only accessible for team members with Senior Staff or above permissions settings.
Invoices tab: Need to check billing details? Use the search bar here to find invoices and payments tied to a specific client (accessible only to admins and owners).
Schedule tab: Looking for a client on your calendar? Use the search bar in the top right to find them within your current schedule view. Keep in mind that results will reflect any filters you have applied. If you have the appointment details open for a specific visit, you can also tap on the pet's face or name to jump straight to their profile.
If you’re ever unsure where to start, a good rule of thumb is to head to the tab that matches what you’re trying to do (whether that’s client details, billing, or scheduling), and search from there.
