Can I use PetPocketbook for my client intake process?

Absolutely! Using PetPocketbook from day one with new families can make life easier for everyone, even when they're not a client yet! Here's the process we'd recommend using to get the relationship started on the right paw. 🐾

Before the Meet & Greet

When you schedule your Meet & Greet with a new client family, make sure to get the pet parent’s first and last name and email address.

As part of that conversation, let them know that you’ll be inviting them to your PetPocketbook portal and that they'd be expected to fill out their and their pets’ profiles in PetPocketbook in advance so that you can review that information prior to your meeting.

At the Meet & Greet

As you get acquainted with your prospective client during the Meet & Greet, you can further flesh out anything in their client profile using whichever device you brought to the meeting. This way, if you decide to move forward with the relationship, their profile is already all set up and ready to go. As you're wrapping up the meeting, you can send them your service agreements directly from their profile in PetPocketbook, which they can then sign electronically through our app, and even book their appointments onto your schedule right then and there, if you'd like!

If you need to upload any other documents to have on file for your client (such as a copy of their vaccination records), you can do so by tapping upload document or the plus sign at the top right corner of your mobile screen in the Documents tab of your client's profile, then simply take a photo of the paperwork and upload! 🙌

If you decide not to move forward with this client, you can easily remove them from your account by tapping remove family at the bottom of their family profile, and that's that!
