How do I add a client to my portal?

Adding a client to your PetPocketbook portal is easy! Just head to your clients tab and tap the big coral "+" button at the top right corner of your screen.

On the next page, enter your client's email address to see if they already exist in the PetPocketbook community. If they don't already have a profile, you can create one for them in one of two ways:

1. Invite to join PetPocketbook

The easiest way to create a new client is by simply following the "invite to join PetPocketbook" button. 

This requires you to enter only the first and last name of your new client to get started. 

Once you've invited them to join, your client will receive a welcome email with an activation link that they can then use to access their account. Upon logging in and setting up their account, they'll be guided through the process of setting up their profiles.

2. Fill out the new client profile yourself

If you've already collected the basics from your new client and would rather enter that information yourself when creating their account, you can choose to follow the "fill out the new client profile yourself" link instead. Once you've completed their profile to the extent that you can, your client will still be sent a welcome email, allowing them to access their account. Upon logging in, they will then be able to review the information that you've added on their behalf and make any changes necessary.   

⚠️ Make sure to have ready their full name, email address, physical address, and their pet name and pet gender; this is the minimum required information to be able to create a client profile manually. 


It looks like my new client is already in PetPocketbook. What does that mean, and what do I do?

It's possible that your new client is using or has used another pet care provider in PetPocketbook and already has a profile. If that's the case, simply tap "add" to connect with them. They'll be sent a welcome email to confirm you as their pet care provider. 

⚠️In this case, for privacy reasons, you will not be able to access their full family profile until your new client confirms you as their provider. All they have to do is follow the "Yes, I'm a client!" button on the welcome email that they received when you added them as a client in PetPocketbook. If they missed your welcome email, they'll also be prompted to confirm you as their new pet care provider the next time they login to their PetPocketbook account.
