What is AutoPay, and how do I set that up?

What is AutoPay?

Once you have added an online payment method to your Pet Parent Portal, you can choose to AutoPay for your services. With AutoPay, PetPocketbook will automatically charge your payment method on file for your outstanding balance and include a tip if you’d like, whenever you have a new bill. This way, you won't have to lift a finger to pay and tip for your pet care services, and you'll never have to be embarrassed about forgetting to pay again! 🙌

You'll still get an itemized receipt, which will show the payment method used, the amount charged, any tip added, as well as the individual appointments covered by your payment.

How do I turn on AutoPay?

To turn this on, go to your Billing Settings tab and toggle on “Enable AutoPay”. If you’d like to include a tip in each automatic payment, toggle on “Add recurring tip”. Once on, input the tip amount that you’d like to give. You can choose any amount between 5% and 100%. For any new invoices going forward, we’ll automatically charge the payment method on file for the full outstanding balance, including the amount you’ve selected to tip your pet care professional.
