Sales Trends Reports

Sales volume in dollars and visits

In our sales trends reports, you’ll see how your sales volume has trended over time, whether in dollars or in visit count. When shown in dollars, you'll see the aggregated value of appointments completed on your schedule each day, week, month, or year (assuming your data set spans enough time), which you can choose at the top of the screen.

You can see projected sales (represented by light blue bars vs a more vibrant blue for historical actuals) based on appointments scheduled on your calendar in the future, if you include future dates in your date range selection.

For a year-over-year comparison, you'll see a gray trend line on each chart representing the value of appointments completed in the same period of the prior year (again assuming your data spans enough time).

You can also toggle to view unit profitability trends, showing what's left after paying your staff for completed appointments.

This is not the profit you'd report for taxes but rather a useful snapshot of your unit economics. It subtracts staff compensation for each appointment from what you charge your clients for that appointment (accounting for any custom pricing and automated surcharges, but excluding sales tax and any manual invoice adjustments). This view then aggregates that "profit" across all appointments on any given day, week, month, or year based on your date range and unit selection.

Our goal is to help you quickly identify which services are most profitable, where and when margins may be tightening, and how staff decisions impact your bottom line. With real-time insight into unit profitability, you’re better equipped to plan ahead, price strategically, and adjust operations when needed.
