How do I create a pet parent account?
Your care provider actually creates your pet parent account on their end when they add you as a client in their business portal.
- If you don't already have a PetPocketbook account, this triggers a welcome email to you that includes an activation link to access your pet parent account and set up your family profile.
- If you've already been using PetPocketbook with another care provider, you'll still get a welcome email, but there's no activation link because you already have an account with us. In your welcome email, you'll simply be prompted to confirm your new care provider to share your existing profile with them. We think it's pretty cool to not have to re-complete the same information over and over again with each new provider -- we hope you agree! 😎
If you haven't received an activation link, your best bet is to reach out to your care provider to ask them to either add you to their client list (if they hadn't already) or to re-send your welcome email.
