I already paid. Why did I receive a bill?

There are two scenarios where you may receive a bill after already paying.

If you paid your pet care provider by cash, check, Venmo, PayPal, or any other method outside of PetPocketbook, unfortunately, there's no way for us to confirm your payment unless your provider manually inputs it into PetPocketbook. 😅 If your provider hasn't had the chance to add your payment yet, your payment would not be reflected in your balance.

This may result in you receiving a bill or bill reminder email from us even though you've already paid. In this case, we recommend contacting your provider to make sure the payment was received and ask them to add your payment to PetPocketbook.

If you prepaid ahead of receiving a bill, you'll still receive a statement from us detailing the appointments in the billing period that were completed by your provider and your balance.

If you're all settled up, your email statement would show a $0 balance. If you didn't pay enough in advance, you might see a remaining balance. If you overpaid for what you ended up needing during the billing period, you'll see a credit balance that'll automatically carry over into your next bill.

For your full billing and payment history, head over to your invoices tab in PetPocketbook! 🐶

If you don't agree with your balance or with what's on your bill, please reach out to your pet care provider directly.
