How do I change or cancel an upcoming appointment?

From your "Appointments" page, tap "modify" or "cancel" on the appointment that you'd like to edit.

⚠️ Please note that when modifying an appointment, your original appointment will be replaced by a new appointment request if you've updated the time, date, or service — in other words, you are canceling your original appointment and requesting a new one. If you'd rather keep your original appointment in case the newly requested time, date, or service cannot be accommodated by your provider, request a new appointment instead, and cancel the original appointment only if your provider approves the new request.


Beyond confirmed appointments, you can modify or cancel pending appointment requests as well in the "Requests" tab.


To find the "modify" and/or "cancel" buttons:

  • On desktop, hover over the appointment that you'd like to change, and you'll see the buttons appear to the right of the appointment.
  • On a mobile device, tap on the appointment that you'd like to edit, and the appointment will slide to the left to reveal the "modify" and "cancel" buttons on the right.

Once a request has been confirmed by your pet care provider, it will move into your confirmed "Appointments" tab.


🧐 Remember that if you cancel, you may be charged a cancellation fee, depending on your pet care providers' cancellation policy. Don't worry, we'll let you know if you're going to incur a cancellation fee when canceling an appointment. At that point, you'll still have the option to keep the appointment to avoid the cancellation charges, or you can continue with canceling the appointment, and any cancellation fees would automatically be added to your next bill.
