How do I set up my account as a pet parent?

Welcome to PetPocketbook!  🎉

To set up your account as a pet parent, you first need to be invited by a pet care provider that's currently using PetPocketbook to manage their scheduling, billing, clients, and staff. Once invited, you'll receive a welcome email from hello@petpocketbook.com with a subject line that begins with "[Action Required] Welcome to PetPocketbook for (your provider's name)". Simply follow the "Set up my account" button on this email to get started! 

Once you've followed the "Set up my account" link, you'll first be prompted to create a password for your PetPocketbook account. Then, you'll be guided through your family profile to ensure that your pet care provider has all the relevant details needed to care for your furry (or maybe not so furry 😜) loved ones. 

💡 If you've already been using PetPocketbook with another care provider, you'll still get a welcome email, but there's no activation link because you already have an account with us. In your welcome email, you'll simply be prompted to confirm your new care provider to share your existing profile with them. We think it's pretty cool to not have to re-complete the same information over and over again with each new provider — we hope you agree! 😎


My activation link expired. Help!

For security purposes, your activation link expires within 3 days of receiving the welcome email that contains the link. If you find that your activation link has expired, you'll be prompted to enter your email address for a new activation link to be sent to you. Just make sure to use the email address where you originally received your expired activation link (because this is the email address associated with your PetPocketbook account)!
